Across the Ages:

Pelvic Floor Symposium

InterContinental Sydney
26th & 27th July 2024

Welcome

Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

On behalf of the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery (AGES) Society, it is with great excitement that we extend a warm welcome to you for the upcoming Pelvic Floor Symposium in the vibrant city of Sydney.

This symposium marks a significant milestone as we gather to explore the theme "Across the Ages", delving into the multifaceted issues affecting pelvic floor function across different life stages. From the young and yet to conceive, to expectant mothers and our cherished elderly populations, this symposium aims to address the comprehensive spectrum of challenges and advancements in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.

Our program has been meticulously crafted to provide a diverse range of sessions catering to both generalists and advanced laparoscopists. From “how-to guides” on prolapse repairs and incontinence “back to basics”, to exploring post-operative complications and breaking taboos, our sessions promise to deliver valuable insights and provide practical strategies to enhance clinical practice and improve patient outcomes.

We are honoured to welcome many esteemed speakers, including our international guest, Professor Jimmy Nomura from Japan, alongside a line-up of renowned AGES speakers and local experts. Their expertise and insights will undoubtedly inspire and educate us all, contributing to a rich and stimulating symposium experience.

Sydney, our dynamic host city, offers the perfect setting for our gathering. Renowned for its iconic landmarks, cultural diversity, and vibrant lifestyle, Sydney invites exploration and discovery. As we convene for this symposium, we encourage you to immerse yourself in the city's rich tapestry and embrace the spirit of collaboration and learning.

We are immensely grateful for your participation and contribution. Together, let us embark on a transformative journey of exploration, innovation, and excellence in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.
