Our faculty are compiled of both international and national presenters who are leaders in their field. A combination of virtual and in-person presentations will be compiled consecutively to bring you world class education even through these unusual times.

International Faculty

Professor Katy Vincent

Katy Vincent is the Professor of Gynaecological Pain and an Honorary Consultant Gynaecologist at the University of Oxford. She studied medicine at King’s College, London, undertook a DPhil with Professor Irene Tracey investigating hormonal influences on the pain experience and obtained her CCT in 2015.

Katy’s predominant clinical interest is Chronic Pelvic Pain, particularly in association with endometriosis and in teenagers/younger women. She leads the Pain in Women research group, who use a variety of methodologies to explore mechanisms generating and maintaining pain in women.

Dr Alex Digesu

Alex Digesu MD, PhD is a Consultant Obstetrician, Gynaecologist & Urogynaecology Subspecialist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Imperial College, London.

Since he completed his training, he worked as Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Consultant in several University teaching Hospitals in Italy, Switzerland and UK. In all he has more than 25 years experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

Dr Digesu has been accredited by the Royal College of Obstericians and Gynaecologists as a Specialist in Urogynaecology (specialised in treating patients with bladder & bowel problems such as incontinence and uterovaginal prolapse).

He has published extensively in this field and he is author of more than 200 articles in peer review journals with I10-index of 80 and HIndex of 35. Dr Digesu is currently Associate Editor of the International Urogynecology Journal and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction.

In view of his expertise and research he covers important academic duties both nationally & internationally and he is a well-known invited speaker worldwide in national and international conferences.

He has also chaired and served on several Committees for the International Urogynaecology Association and International Continence Society. He has been member of the Board of Trustee of the International Continence Society from 2016 till 2019.

Dr Digesu was a former Associate Editor of the Neurourology and urodynamics Journal.

On the light of his clinical and scientific achievements in January 2014 Dr. Digesu has been awarded Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology by the Italian Ministry of Health and in January 2019 Visiting Professor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology by the University of Naples in Italy.
