International Faculty (In-Person)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr Alex Capano<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Alex Capano is the Chief Science officer at Ananda Hemp (and parent company Ecofibre), a global biotech company focused on cannabis-derived nutraceuticals, food, textiles, and medical devices. She was the first doctoral candidate to focus on comprehensive cannabinoid science at Thomas Jefferson University’s Lambert Center for the Study of Medicinal Cannabis & Hemp. In 2019, Alex published a study on the CBD’s effects on opioid reduction and chronic pain. She is currently researching cannabis’ effects on various disease states in humans, including endometriosis and dementia, and identifying industrial applications of cannabis. She has spoken at dozens of scientific conferences and been published across multiple outlets. Alex is also a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Additional degrees include a BSN & MSN from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS from the University of Miami. Dr. Capano was a lead researcher in ground breaking women’s health research, which granted Ananda Hemp patents for treatment for ovarian cancer, endometriosis, fibroids, and dysmenorrhea. Additional patents, including those on endometrial cancer and head & neck cancers, are expected to be granted in the coming months. NBC News called Dr Capano “America’s First Cannabis Doctor<\/p>\n

Dr Charles Miller<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Miller is an internationally renowned expert in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and the treatment of infertile couples.<\/p>\n

Dr. Miller is Professor, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Department of Clinical Sciences, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Dr. Miller is a Past President of both the International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy and the AAGL. Dr. Miller was the Honorary Chair of the AAGL’s 51st Annual Global Congress (December 2022) and is the current President of The Foundation of the AAGL (2023 – 2024).<\/p>\n
