AI scribes – an overview of both technical and practical issues

Having recently launched our own AI scribe tool – VoiceBox, Avant is in a unique position from both a technical and medico-legal perspective to discuss this rapidly evolving technology. This session explores how to improve efficiency of clinical interactions in your practice by using the scribe functionality, including governance of correspondence and secure messaging.  In addition to a scribe tools capabilities, we will cover the real world problems doctors face with AI scribes including errors and hallucinations, management of a physical examination and issues of patient consent. Through expert-led discussion, we’ll provide practical insights and solutions to these challenges. This session is aimed at both early adopters of AI scribe technology and those that are considering its use in the future.
